Welcome to the Hop Garden! Operating as a sister to Sportsman's, the Hop Garden is an outdoor "beer garden" style venue, complete with full bar, restrooms, live music, and more.

With an awesome draft beer and domestics lineup, seasonal drinks, and a selection of frozen & mixed cocktails, we have something out here for everyone!

Our entertainment schedule is FULL. Like, "too many Chicago Dogs from the Wiener Wagon" full. We feature many of your favorite local acts on our spacious stage, and host unique and engaging events throughout the summer. What's going on...
Hop Garden Cornhole League
Join us every Wednesday starting May 10th for our weekly Cornhole League! Each week, individuals can sign up for our weekly tournament-style league. No commitment, no carry-over -- play as often as you want! Weekly payouts and a format that changes frequently, to keep it fresh and fun. Just $10/person each week! Search for "Hop Garden" on Scoreholio to pre-register.

Queen of Hearts 50/50 Raffle
Sponsored by United Way of Brown County Illinois, the Queen of Hearts Raffle is designed to raise money for the benefit of several local non-profit organizations. The drawing takes place every Thursday at 7pm in Sportsman's / Hop Garden, but you can buy tickets any time by contacting a BC United Way member, or by stopping in on Thursdays starting at 5pm.
QoH will be held in Sportsman's when weather / seasonal closings affect Hop Garden operating hours.
Sunday Music Series
**SUNDAY MUSIC SERIES HAS CONCLUED FOR 2023**
Join us every Sunday in the Hop Garden for our Sunday Music Series. Featuring acoustic acts from across the state, SMS is sure to be your favorite Sunday Funday destination! We'll also be serving up authentic Chicago-style hot dogs and other snacks from the Wiener Wagon! Yes, you read that right. Chicago Dogs, right here in Mt. Sterling, from our all-new hot dog cart. We'll even be streaming the whole thing live at twitch.tv/TheWienerWagon and offering specials and giveaways for online participation!
